Michael Annett Atlanta Preview

Michael Annett’s best NXS finish at AMS is 10th, coming in September 2012.

Annett has been very consistent at Atlanta, completing all but 10 of the 1,138 laps run in his six NXS starts.

In his last start at AMS, Annett raced to a solid 15th- place finish.

In the season’s first race at Daytona, Annett spent a considerable amount of time in the top 10 before being collected in a lap-106 crash. The No. 5 Pilot Flying J Chevrolet was ultimately scored in the 37th position.

Michael Annett Quote: “We ran very well at Daytona, from the time we first got on the track Friday until the crash that took us out near the end. Jason (Stockert, crew chief) and the team have really worked hard to get us to where we can compete on any track and I can’t wait to put my Pilot Flying J Chevrolet on the track at Atlanta. It’s big and fast and you can race everywhere, so we’re looking for another great weekend.”
