Michael Annett Phoenix Preview

Michael Annett has earned four top-10 finishes in his last six NXS starts at ISM, with a best finish of seventh in the fall 2012 event.

On 1-mile tracks, Annett has logged two top-five and seven top-10 finishes in his Xfinity Series career. He was ninth in this race last year for JR Motorsports.

Annett will make his 200th NXS start on Saturday. His first start was Nov. 15, 2008 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Last week’s race at Las Vegas saw Annett jump 13 spots in the season point standings with a 13th-place run on the 1.5-mile oval.

Michael Annett Quote: “We did some good things at Las Vegas in terms of being able to gain positions when we needed them late in the race, and that’s encouraging. After having some bad luck at both Daytona and Atlanta, it felt good to run well. Heading to Phoenix this weekend, we’ve got some momentum behind us to do even more. I like Phoenix, have always seemed to run well there, and with the recent history our company has had, sweeping both races last year, we’re pretty excited to be heading there this weekend.”
