Michael Annett Daytona Preview

Michael Annett’s best NXS finish at DIS is third, in the summer of 2012. His best season-opening finish is 12th, in 2010.

Coming off a ninth-place finish in the points in 2017, Annett seeks to improve on his NXS career-best point finish of fifth, earned in 2012.

Last year, Annett was running in the top six near the end of the Daytona race before being caught up in a massive crash. He finished 14th.

Michael Annett Quote: “I can’t wait to get the 2018 season started in Daytona. I like big, fast race tracks, and Daytona certainly fits that bill. Coming into the season, I’m as excited as I’ve ever been. (Crew chief) Jason Stockert and the Pilot Flying J team have worked hard over the winter to hit the ground running. We want to continue to build on our success from last season and go deep into the playoffs, and it starts here this weekend."
