Michael Annett Homestead Preview

Michael Annett’s best finish at Homestead is 12th place in 2012, and his best start is 15th in 2011.

With one race remaining, Annett is just two points out of ninth in the standings. Should he advance to ninth this weekend, it would tie his second-best points finish in the series back in 2011. His best career points finish in the NXS is fifth in 2012.

In his last two starts on 1.5-mile tracks, Annett has averaged 13.0 per finish, with a 12th-place run at Texas Motor Speedway and a 14th at Kansas Speedway.

Quote: “Our Pilot Flying J team had a good weekend at Phoenix, one of my favorite tracks, and we put a solid weekend together. That’s the key for us going forward, to all be on the same page every time out. This weekend, the focus is on doing everything right from the time we unload to the checkered flag, and that will set the bar for 2018. We’re going to go out, race hard, finish well and hopefully help JR Motorsports celebrate the championship on Saturday.”
