Michael Annett Kentucky Preview

The 1.5-mile Kentucky Speedway is one of Annett’s better tracks statistically, as the 31-year-old Iowan has logged one top-five and five top-10 finishes in his seven NXS starts there. His best finish, fourth, came in 2012.

The last time Annett raced in the Xfinity Series at Kentucky, he finished 10th (2013).

In 2008, Annett started fourth and finished eighth in an ARCA Racing Series event at Kentucky, leading 31 laps on the day.

Of his five top-10 finishes at Kentucky, three of them have been seventh-place runs.

Quote: “I’ve always seemed to be able to get around Kentucky Speedway really well, and we’ve gotten some great finishes there. The Pilot Flying J team has been really putting things together and giving me awesome race cars, so I’m excited to get back there. After the good run at Iowa and an awesome run at Daytona before we got caught up in a crash, we’re building some steam for the second half and chasing the Playoffs, so we need another solid run this weekend.”
