Michael Annett Atlanta Preview

Michael Annett began his 2017 campaign with a hard- fought 14th-place finish in the season opener at DIS and currently sits in 14th in the NXS point standings.

The Iowa native has five NXS starts at AMS with a best career finish of 10th coming in 2012.

Annett’s best career year at 1.5-mile tracks came in 2012 where he logged eight of his 17 top-10 finishes.

Annett has completed all but 10 laps attempted at AMS.

Quote: “With the new aero and rules package we are running in 2017, this will be the first true test of how the No. 5 Pilot Flying J Chevrolet handles in a crowd. As we saw last weekend in Daytona, the stages create aggressive racing early and we will have to be aggressive and cautious as we run. I know our team is eager to get down to Atlanta and I have been looking forward to this race since the beginning of the year.”
